Welcome! My name is Steve Roth, and my business is DrumSet4u. I am a professional drum set teacher and musician in Los Angeles, California and surrounding areas. Think of me as your “personal rhythm coach”®. I provide a complete drum set tutorial program that will have my students learning to play the drums at their very first lesson! I can come to you or you can visit me at my studio in Canoga Park.
I believe in presenting a teaching style that is fun, informative, exciting and challenging. I present clear, focused, and dynamic lesson plans that achieve quick results. My methods are based upon my personal studies with such legendary drummers and teachers as Gregg Bissonette (David Lee Roth, Ringo Starr), Karen Teperberg (Chris Botti, Jesse McCartney, Moshav), Mike Clark (Herbie Hancock and the Headhunters) and the legendary Hollywood drum guru, the late Murray Spivack. I have a structured program that will get you up and running immediately. Always friendly, patient, and professional!!!
